Protect Windows Server and Windows 10, Version 2004 with Veritas Backup Exec 21.1

Veritas is pleased to announce that Backup Exec 21.1 can protect the Microsoft Semi-annual release of Windows Server, Version 2004, and Windows 10, version 2004.

You can now protect and add Windows server and Windows 10, version 2004, through the add server option in Backup Exec 21.1.

You can install Backup Exec 21.1 Remote Agent on Windows Server and Windows 10, Version 2004 immediately and on the options and components listed below:

  • Protection for remote Windows Server, Version 2004 computers
  • Protection for remote Windows 10, Version 2004 computers
  • You can Install/Manage a Remote Administrator Console (RAC) on Windows 10, Version 2004
  • Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) recovers the entire Windows Server and Windows 10, Version 2004 from a bare-metal state
  • Dual Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) support continues as it was in earlier Backup Exec version
  • Backup and recovery of the latest Microsoft Hyper-V on Windows Server, Version 2004 platform
  • Protection for the resilient file system (ReFS), NTFS & Dedupe Volumes
  • Support continues as it was in earlier Backup Exec version of Microsoft applications like SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Active directory for application item-level GRT on Windows Server, Version 2004
