Protecting OVM with Backup Exec 15

We have a customer that needs to protect several OVM's and execute file system backups without using database agents, does Backup Exec 15 support this?

BE doesn't have a specific virtual agent for OVM like it has for VMware or Hyper-V. You could install Remote Agent inside the VM (provided the OS is supported in the SCL) and backup the VM as if it were a physical machine.

Do I need to license each one of the VM's in an Oracle VM Server to execute file system backups of those VM's?

Yes, each machine will be licensed individually. Additionally, with BE 15, one can opt for the Capacity model which is licensed on amount of data to be backed up rather than number of machines.
