Quantum DLT-V4

Hello I see there is an update for Backup Exec 10 Rev 5520 that has the new DLT-V4 drivers. I have ver 10 rev 5484 and I don't see any drivers for the DLT-v4. Is my new drive going to work poperly? Thanks.

Have you downloaded the latest v10 Driver Pack ?

I downloaded that Driver Pack and it didn't seem to install new drivers for the V-4. This morning I checked the backups and it told me the backups were 99% complete after 12 hours. I canceled the backup and it said the backup was completed successfully without giving me the usual "backup canceled by administrator" error. What exactly is wrong?

Was there perhaps an alert to "remove tape and click OK" this morning?

The tape was actually ejected already. It should have nothing to do with the size because it is only backing up 61 gigs which became to large for my old vs-80 drive. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the tape was physically ejected, but BackupExec pops up an Alert to tell you to remove the tape, and the job timer keeps going until you either respond or cancel the job

That never happened with the vs-80 drive. Also there was no message to hit OK to. Any suggestions?

If there was no "remove tape" alert, I've got no idea why the job would hange like that, then report complete wheyn you cancelled it.

I check this morning and there was a message to remove media but I had to go under alerts tab to find it. I hit OK and it finished the job. I set the alert from now on to respond yes to it so hopefully that will fix the issue. Thanks again.

How do I get the message to stop popping up about removing the Media? It is holding the job and I have to click OK every morning now.

Yes I tried everything in the documents but it seems like if the job is going to fail or complete w/ exceptions the message hangs and does not automatically clear
