Question about partition on BE 12

hi All,

In My company also use that way but now I have a question, so if I wanna extend the partition that I had configed, does All the data on the old partition will lost?

for ex: I config : Slot 1 -> slot 5 is partition 1. now I wanna add more 2 slot to partitition 1, how can?

Please advise me ,

Hello,

If you are adding 2 more slots in the Partition, you need to delete initial partitions and then recreate new partition adding 2 slots.
After creating new partitions, you wont loose any DATA.....

Example : PArtition1=Slot1 to Slot5, after adding 2 more slots , Partition1=Slot1 to Slot7

There is no need to delete the partition at all.
1>Select the robotic library containing the slots that you want to partition
2>Under Robotic Library Tasks in the task pane, select Configure partitions
3>

Move the selected partition divider up to increase the number of slots in the partition. (The number of slots in the preceding partition is decreased.)

Move the selected partition divider down to decrease the number of slots in the partition. (The number of slots in the preceding partition is increased.)
