Questions about exchange and sql agents

Hello
I am trying to install the Backup Exec agents for SQL and Exchange, but I do not see any options that state the agent being installed is for exchange or sql. Am I supposed to have an option for these different agents or is there a different installer that I need to find and install.

I am using Backup Exec 12.5sp3

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

The Exchange a SQL licenses are just serials that unlock that capability on the media server.  You do need to install the RemoteAgent on those two servers, tho

Ahh, I do have the licenses installed. So once i install the remote agent it will just know thet they are for the specialized servers?

Yes. That is correct.  In the selection list for your SQL server, you would be able to see a section called Microsoft SQL Server and you can use this section to select the databases to backup.
