Hi, Accidentally we run a Quick Erase on tape. There is any way to roll back to recover the information?
We are using Backup Exec 2010 and the tape DAT HP C7973A
Thx to all!

No with Backup Exec (or with any normal backup software.)
Some third party recovery softwares might be able to do. Try googling

Sorry the catalog is an index of backup data within the set, but to make use of it you still have to sucessfully mount the tape content as it was before the erase (the catalog file does not contain your actual data)
In theory the data is still on your tape - as a quick erase ONLY erases the tape header but you will have to go to a data recovery company (or use third party tools) to access the data, Backup Exec cannot do it.
Note: If you used encryption on the tape do not bother going to a data recovery company as they won't be able to restore anything.
