Getting this error when restoring a single file:

Monday, March 15, 2021 11:06:33 AM - V-79-57344-4629 - The staging location C:\TEMPSTOR on the Backup Exec server does not have enough disk space to stage the restore job. The server has 447.0 GB space available, but 3.2 TB space is required to stage this job.

@CalumetMTIT

Yes. The entire vmdk needs to be staged in order to restore a single file.

Look at the replies to my query over here:

So I need to back the vm as a regular backup to enable individual file restoration?

You need sufficient space on the Media server to stage the entire VM to disk.

Or else backup as physical machine. Sorry....
