Ready; Job destination does not contain any eligible devices.' - Deduplication Disk Storage

Hi Everybody

I have a BE Gold Edition, version 20.1. Installed on Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter.

I am performing 'Back Up to Deduplication Disk Storage and Then Back Up to Tape' for the backup of some servers. Everyday my backup fails. I cannot even 'Run Now' it gave me the message: 'Ready; Job destination does not contain any eligible devices.'

I have check the disk storage, it is enable and online. The disk storage is found on the BE Server with empty disk space. I have restart BE services also.

However, it continues to gave me the same message and no backup is performed. Can someone help me please. Thanks

In your storage tab, do you have a "disk storage" device or a "deduplication disk storage" device?

They are different devices and the devices must match what you have selected in your backup job.

Can you run an inventory of this device?

Is this a brand new installation? or just a new problem on a previosuly working system?

Can you edit the backup job and confirm the storage is set to dedupe.
