Reboot Server during backup

Hello. I am now using Win2003 Std + BackupExec SP3. My questions is all the target server will reboot on schedule. Any setting can make the backupexec ti continue backup when reboot finished rather than stop backup(actually it show failed when backing up). I have enable all error handling rule. But it seems not work. Any other suggestion? Thanks.

Hello,
do you mean your servers are configured to reboot at that time?

- You could set the Start time of the backups later (i.e. Aftre the reboot is compleate)

Thank you for your reply. But it is impossible to do that because the there are several server to reboot in different time stamp. Any other way for it to resume backup if the target server is rebooted? Thanks.

Hi,

It is not possible to resume Backup after server comes up (after reboot)

If you know the reboot timing of the server then you can schedule the Backup

Update us on the same and revert for any further Query
Hope this will help you

Thank you
Gauri
