Recovering from DAT made with 8.6

I've never done this, but I'm sure it has come up for many others:

Currently have BEWS 11d 7170 (will update soon) with LTO4 and some eSATA hard drives.

We need to recover files from DAT 72 tapes made with BEWS 8.6.

Still have that DAT drive, but the old NT server with 8.6 is gone.

If I connect the drive to our 11d server, will we be able to catalog & recover from those tapes?

If so, any tips or tricks that might help?

If not, how else might we access that data?

Many thanks,

Jim

Yes, no problem, as long as you have  a driver for your current OS

Insert the tape, Inventory, Catalog, Restore
