we got a Server 2012 R2 environment.
Backing up via vCenter Server. Jobs are splitted in GRT and non-GRT jobs like mentioned in admin guide.
Backup is running smooth and fine. No errors. But when we try to recover a file/mailbox element or anything else except a .vmdk the recovery job fails with:
0xe00084f9 communication error between backup exec job engine and agent for windows.
Everything is up to date. (Backup Exec 2014 SP2) Agents also up to date. Windows OS up to date.
I have already checked the login accounts for the BE Services and for the servers. Everything okay and working.
