Recovery Type Checkpoint on hyper-v environment

Hello folks,

I have problems with hyper-v agent and my failover cluster environment running on a Windows Server 2012 R2.

I'm using hyper-v agents on three physical hosts of hyper-v. When I run a full backup on virtual machines, there aren't any problem, but whe I run a incremental backup on virtual machines, hyper-v or Backup exec makes a recovery type checkpoint on each virtual machine. When the job is finished these checkpoints are not removed.

The problem is that is not possible remove from GUI also, They must be remove manually and it's a dangerous operation.

Somebody can help me?

Thanks!!

You should

1) Set the VM mode in the General Server setting to Standard

2) Delete the snapshot using the Powershell command.

...if you're using Advanced Open File Option in the job, turn it off and see if this fixes it.

Thanks!
