RedHat Linux Server show in BE as an Windows System

Hello,

i have install the Ralus on my RedHat 5.1 Server. Installation was without any failures.

When i now add a Linux Server in my Symantec BackUp Management Konsole, the System will show as an Windows Server. So i have only see "Data and "root", like regular SMB Access.

I have tried a new installation of Linux Agent, but nothing change. What can i do?

BE 2014 only support RHEL 5.5 to RHEL 6.5. You would have to upgrade your server. See the SCL below http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH217478

i have now install Linux Agent from Version 2012R2, this works.

Soon i will update my Linux Server, but now i dont have the time for do this.
