Release date for Backup Exec 2010?

Hi There,

Does anyone know if a release date for the RTM of BE 2010 has been set?  We're just about to kick off a VMware migration project and I'm keen to get 2010 in there from the start if possible, rather than start with 12.5 and upgrade later.

As far as I recall I have not seen a document with an offical release date available for customers at this time.

Hello -

Backup Exec 2010 will be released in calendar Q1 2010 (i.e. Jan - March).  We can't be any more specific at this time.

the Release Details page from Symantec Supports shows the release date of Version 2010 as February 1, 2010.
