Remote Agent Dr Watson Error

Just installed Backupexec 10 on win2k server, installed agents to remote servers without problem (NT boxes done manually). when attempting to conect to one NT4 server beremote.exe gives a dr watson error. reinstalled agent, fault still apparent. All other NT4 agents working well.

Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for the reply... however it hasn't helped, the error occurs when attempting to connect to make a selection when configuring backups. Restarting the service allows you to continue but then when the backup runs it errors again

The SETUP.exe was installed from the RANT32 directory in the root of C:\

Hi,

Backup Exec 10.0 is not explicitly tested with Windows NT4.0.As a result no performance can be guranteed as far as NT 4.0 is concerned.

Please refer to the Software Compatibility List fro Backup Exec 10.0
