Remote Agent Playing up

Hi all

Backups fail every night, with error of "The media server could not connect to the remote computer..."

To cut a long story shorter, it said that about 2 servers (email and profile servers) it was supposed to be backing up.

A little investigation lead me to find the Remote Agent on those 2 were out of date, so I updated them and ran a test run. Sure enough, the error was gone now for one server (email), but not the other (Profiles).

So I uninstalled the Agent, rebooted and reinstalled it. No errors on that part. Backup last night still failed due to this one server (profiles).

I checked the media and next to all the mailboxes on the server I thought was ok, it says 0K.

Any suggestions appreciated!!

Ok, the only issue here is the Profile server is not connectable by Veritas.

The email server is ok , just took a closer look and emails are being backed up.
