Remote Agent for BE10d

Hi Guys,

We have an SBS2k3 Server with Veritas BE10d SBS edition and DLO option installed.

The DLO licence shows as installed in the "installation &serial number" section.
Although I could not successfully remotely push the agent to the PC in question (RPC Server unavailable error) I installed it on the PC by following the support doc listed in http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/255826.htm which seems to have worked as the remote agent shows as an installed program in Add/remove programs.

However, I cannot connect to remote workstations through the selections list in the job setup section. The node lists various possible causes and solutions which I have tried but nothing seems to work.

I have the same issue on other PCs.

We also have a terminal server running Win2K3 which has the remote agent installed and working fine.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Is the Remote Agent installed on the workstations...?

Check whether Port Number 10000 is available on all the workstations..?
