Faced the following problem.
The remote agent does not start as a service.
There were no configuration changes. It just stopped running. When trying to start up manually, it starts for a few minutes, then stops.
What could be the problem?
Veritac Backup Exec gives error E0000F04 in the interface.
Is that the Remote Agent service on the BE server itself or on a remote server?
If on a remote server, is only one remote system affected and all other remote servers working fine.
If so, then its something specific to this server and you might want to check if maybe port 10000 is being used by another application which makes our agent to stop as by default port 10000 is our communication port.
