Remote Server Question

   I have some backup tapes that I can restore what was backed up locally.  My question is:  Is there a way to restore a remote server backup using Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers to a local machine? Please I need some ideas.

Hi erg,

You will need to run a redirect restore and specify the server .

Thank you for the response.  I did try that and gave me an error for Remote Server.  Are there any other options?  It is 9 tape backup (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, than Friday Week 1-5).  Most of the backup is from a local machine, but the other is from a Dell server that is connected remotely.  Sorry for all the background, just getting frustrated.  Thank you.
