HI
I took bakcup from Server A by using Removable Backup-to-Disk ( to a usb hardrive) . Backup was Onle one mailbox ,size 6mb
then i connect the usb hardrive to Servere B ( where i want to restore)
i inventory the drive, then catalog the drive.
now when i am restoring... its failling with this error :
"Final error: 0xe0008442 - A memory allocation request failed.The computer may be running low on vir...
I checked the following solution already:
according to this site
(a)http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/305502.htm
the logon account is select as System Account
(b) http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/305237.htm : i can catalog , only restore failed, so i does not belived this apply.
(c)http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/273562.htm : i have check with all these hotfixed, all are installed, ( though i dont think that was the issue)
still no luck
(d) installed servivce pack2 for backupexed
(e) i have increased virtual memory to 10GB!! , and my system ram is 2 gb
Extra Add : if i change the Credetential to Domain/Administrator then its shows different error which is :
it will eat all the memory and server will be hanged for couple of minutes .then server will be normal but backup will fail saying : Communication Error has occured!!
Every time, its completing to 80% then rapidly Physical memory droped from 1Gb free to 1684 or less!!!
