Remove duplicate local BackupExec server from list?

Hi, I've rather stupidly added a local BE server twice to our 2012 install, obviously I can't remove the second server from the list as it's the local server. It's not a major issue as I don't backup the second copy but I'd like to get rid for 'neatness'.

Is there any way to remove it from the server list without reinstalling?

Cheers, Lee.

Hi,

You can try editing it out of the BEDB using SQL Management Studio, but this wouldn't be supported by Symantec directly without their intervention.

Thanks!

I would recommend calling in Tech Support for editing the BEDB...Its safer & quicker as we know which entry is to be removed :)
