Removing the Full backup option from an incremental backup

Hi,

Ive recently installed backup exec 2012 and have decided to re-create the jobs rather than use the imported ones so I get a feel for the software. Ive created a full weekly backup no problems, but for the daily incremental job I cant seem to get rid of the "full backup" option within the schedule. I can add additionals but not remove the default one.

Can anyone explain why please?

For BE 2012, you cannot do incrementals without doing fulls.

Have you tried deleting them from the Job Setup tab?

Firstly whats going on with this forum - my questions seems to be disspearing??? Its also really slow to update.
