Restore BE1 on BE 9

Hello,
Does any one know if recovering an LTO2 tape saved with BE11 on a system running BE9.1 (in server 2003) is possible?
Is BE9.1 forward compatible with 11.0?

No!! you cant, the tape catalog is different.  You can catalog/restore a BE9.1 tape in BE11d server only. Not the other way around
