Restore Exchange EDB to Alternate Location

Joe_User_at_Ver
Not applicable

I have need to restore EDB files to a different server without integration into Exchange.  In other words, I just need the EDB files on a volume --no Exchange server, don't want mailboxes to integrate back to original exchange database stores, etc.  I have Backup Exec 2010 but it insists on forcing me to select options for restoring back to my original Exchange server.  How can I *not* do this?

If I Restore-to-Disk, this is different terminology than Duplicate-to-Disk so I don't know how to get the raw/original files out instead of to a backup data set.
