Hi Everyone
i am not able to perform a restore and redirection. I can not select a resource and i can not figure out why. I have a critical restore i need to perform due to a power outage and i am at a lose for why i can not view resources anymore.
i have rebooted the server. Could this be a service that is not running? if so i am not sure what service this is in relation too.
Running SBE 2010 R3
Please help!!!

Can you see any resource in the selection when you create a backup job?

Do ensure a System Logon Account exists in the format domain/user and has the rights as per https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH23689.html
Lastly, using Start - Run, type the following command (Assuming the default install location was used) -
regsrv32 C:\program files\Symantec\Backup Exec\BEcatdrv.dll
Restart all BE services and recheck the restore selections.

didnt work. is there a space between 32 and C:\
is there anything before regsrv32 ??

still did not work
restarted services, account has everything it needs

Yes, there is a space between regsrv32 and C:
Are there any errors logged in the windows event viewer ? Are all BE services in a running state ?

As a troubleshooting step - do you see selections if you try to create a Backup job (note you don't need to run the job just check if you can select fiels to backup (from the local server) and then cancel out)
