Hi all,
I tried to restore data that is in a server to a PC through the network. that means server and PC are in AD and there is a shared folder in the PC to store the restored data.
I use System Logon Account for backup and used it for restore also.
And I got the following error.
Final error: 0xe0008488 - Access is denied.
Final error category: Security Errors
The Media Server was unable to connect to Remote Machine XXXXXXXXXX.
The Media Server will fall back on the local agent to try and complete the operation.
WARNING: Media servers cannot completely protect remote
Windows-based servers or workstations unless the Backup
Exec Remote Agent is installed
and running on each remote Windows-based server or
workstation to be protected. Data loss can occur if the
Remote Agent is not running
while restoring remote Windows-based computers.
Remote Agent for Windwos Servers is installed already.
I thought I had to add the System Logon Account in the all privileged member in the folder of the PC. But it produces same error.
any suggestions please?
