Restore fails with E000FE34 error

Hello Guys,

I am trying to restore a backup of a SQL database with a size of 11GB. The backup job backs up the file (xxx.BAK) from a drive partition on the sql server which is running inside vmware to a disk on the backup exec server. the backups were all successful but thats half of the process. I tried to restore from a month ago backup and I get this error:

What seems to be the problem? I dont have any encription or software compression

I am using backup exec R13 version 2896. The SQL server is running server 2008

BE is unable to read back the file.  The backup is of the .bak file is bad.  Did you do a verify after you do the backup?
