Restore fails with "Connection to restore target has been lost"

Hi,

I am runnning Backup Exec 2012 SP3. Version 14.0 Rev 1798 (64bit)

When I am trying to restore a VM with 2 virtual disks, I get the following errors:

Job ended: 27 February 2014 at 12:25:29
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000957e - Unable to create the new virtual machine.
Final error category: Resource Errors

Restore- VMVCB::\\VSPHERE41.VMM.INT\VCGuestVm\(DC)CES(DC)\vm\LTT Demo\NS DEV - SV70 LTT  DC SHAREPOINT 2010 development.ces.test VMVCB::\\VSPHERE41.VMM.INT\VCGuestVm\(DC)CES(DC)\vm\LTT Demo\NS DEV - SV70 LTT  DC SHAREPOINT 2010 development.ces.testError writing file data.

V-79-57344-65072 - Connection to the restore target has been lost.  Operation canceled.

Does anyone has a solution for this issue?

Thanks for the link.

It says:

"WORKAROUND:
 Rename the datastore name to be restored and perform redirect restore to it"

This is rather cryptic to me what do they mean?
