Restore individual file in file server/ SQL/SharePoint

Hi All,

I am currently using BE2012 with VMWARE Agent. I connect BE2012 to Vcenter and create 2 separate jobs for:

1. Servers that have agents installed ( file server, SQL, SharePoint) and enable GRT in backup job --> aiming to restore individual files adn components inside those servers
2. Server that don't have agents install and disable GRT in backup job --> Only able to restore only VMDK or whold VM

However, when i try to restore on server that have agents installed, it just show me restore "VMware Data", how can i restore indiviual file inside VM ?

Hi Pkh,

Thanks but i still have problem that the VM server that has agent installed appear in server list with comment "Never backed up", therefore the "restore" option is grey out.

Try backing up the VM as a physical machine, not selecting it as a VM under the host.  You only need to do this once.
