Restore oracle online backup to another server -Backup Exec 2010

Media Server Version : 2008 R2

Oracle 10gR2 on RHEL 4.6

This is the first time am using the tool, i need to know how  i can restore the hot backup / cold backup to other server.

I have one more query ..

When i do clonning form PROD to TEST ...

By seeing the above doc i understood that .. i need to change the DB id of TEST & SID of TEST to PROD.

Then only i can restore the Production backup Test server..

Or Do we have anyother workarround for this ...

Yes you have to have the DBID same. No other workarounds aroung this...
