Restore runs sucessfully - but no files restored

Anyone had this before?

Using BEX 2012, backing up a vcentre server which backs up ok (with exceptions) I can drill down & see the file for a restore & the restore runs completes sucessfully but 0 files are restored.

It works ok on others servers, just this one. The job is a full then a couple of incrementals.

The difference with this server is that it is large, 2tb of data spread across a disk (dynamic disks)

Any help appreciated, I can find a relevant post for my issue currently! thanks

p.s I have trued restoring to original location & an alternative location - same issue

What is the data that you are trying to restore. Is it like some database or simple data files.

Are all of the live updates installed?

There may well be updates, I dont want to check whilst jobs are running at the moment.

However other restores work ok, I have tested a couple running form a full backup & then from an incremental. The only difference between this server & others is that it is large & the disks are dynamic.

Have you ever heard of this before?
