Hi,
We backup our Exchaneg DB's every night, however I manage to restore all the DB's fine but can never mount them until I use the Exchange tool to repair, so I am wondering I cam backup correctly?
I use:
Backup method:
Full - Database & Logs (flush committed logs)
Perfom consistency check
Continue with backup if check fails
To restore:
I untick the commit after restore and mount DB's after restore
Purge existing data and restore only the databases and transaction logs from the backup sets
