Restoring Files in the NETLOGON share?

How in the world do you restore files from the NETLOGON share contained on Domain Controllers.  Backup Exec uses active file exclusion, therefore it does not allow for direct backup of the NETLOGON share off of servers.  It really sucks that you would have to restore the system state and risk of screwing up a DC just to restore a login script file or anything else you might need from NETLOGON.  My real question is.  Does anyone know an easier method other than system state restores for recovering the files located in the NETLOGON share?

You cant re-direct the system state- if you want just a script you can re-direct it to a folder and get the file you need out of the system state backup.

Redirect the system state to a folder and then you should find what you need.  Its by design and same goes for a NTBACKUP
Hope this helps

For some reason I thought that you wouldn't be able to sucessfully redirect a system state restore.  Is this something that you have personally done?

If you redirect a system state and specify a folder on a volume - it will restore a file structure - but it' won't restore it as an actual system state.
