Dear ,

Any idea how to do it? I dont have the original server installed. I have a new server with all new catalogs .

is there a way to restore these files?

Hi,

You can run a Catalog job on those old *.bkf files.

Once done, select the correct date range and then run the restore.

Thanks!

Is this disk like a old B2D folder on an external HDD, if yes if could be imported as a Legacy B2D folder in BE 2012. Inventory, catalog and attempt to restore the data.

If these files were just coppied off from a B2D folder to to that disk, you might want to setup a New B2D folder either in BE 12.5 or 2012, copy the .bkf files in the folder location. Inventory, catalog and attempt to restore the data.

hi again,

i have a new BE server 12.5

i created a B2D on a shared storage.

i put all the .BKF files inside

inventory then catalog

I have around 100 . BKF file and each file is taking around 2 to 3 days to be done. Is that normal behavior

each BKF file is around 4 GB and the bytes counted is more than 150 GB for each

please advise
