Hi!
I have problem. When I try to restore messages to mailbox (original location) I get error:
Job ended: Monday, May 05, 2014 at 7:00:48 PM Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe0001207 - To support individual mailbox message and folder restores from Information Store backups, you must download and install the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects package version 06.05.7888 or later on the Exchange 2007 server. This package can be found on the Microsoft web site. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-4615
I saw solution that tells to install MAPI on Exchange Server. I have already done it and rebooted the server, but no success!
Backup Exec 2012
Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2008 SP2.

Hello, do you have the Exchange Management tools installed on the Media server and updated to the same level as Exchange?

Yes, I saw this documents. It seems media server doesn't see MAPI on Exchange Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects

Uninstall MAPI, reboot the server and then install the latest MAPI client. refer: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH55900

Is the same verision of the MAPI/CDO client installed on the Backup Exec server along with the install of same version of Exchange Managemet Console that is on the Exchange servers?
also if Outlook is installed on the Exchange server this could cause issues with the MAPI installation.

Additionally, see if this KB helps - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH68292

I saw this information and uninstalled Outlook (and all office from Exchange Server).
MAPI\CDO should be installed only on Exchange Server - so it's writtent in your help file.
Should I install it also on media server?
Oops, console version are different! Installing service pack 2 failed. Exchange 2007 SP2 doesn't support Windows Server 2008 R2 where Media server is installed. Does it mean that I need the same Windows Server 2008 (no R2) for Media server?

II have installed this with help of your post, but no success.
Current version of failure is that Media Server is Windows Server 2008 R2 X64 that cannot use Exchange 2007 SP2 Management Console (this is tools, yes?).

You can use restore-Mailbox cmdlet to extract mailbox content from a database restored to a RSG.Please have a look at this link:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125218%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx .
An alternate option, you can try this exchange mailbox recovery tool (http://www.exchangemailboxrecovery.co.uk) to restore mailbox messages and other items of mailbox.

That is right. You would need to install Exchange 2007 SP3 Management Tools on the media server as SP3 added support for Windows 2008 R2. And upgrade to SP3 on the Exchange server as well so that the Management Tools on both servers are at the same version.
