Retore Regystry as file

Hi, i've a question to restore a registry.

i want to restore the registry as a file from a systemstate backup because  i search a Value of a registry key.

I don't want that the registry of a live system will be overwritten from the backup registry.

Is this possible.

you can redirect restore system state set on file system. You can also just select the registry within system state in the newer versions of BE. Try it.

I again, i Use Version 16 of Backup Exec.

Are you shure that the original registry will not be overwritten with the Backup?

it will restore to the E drive that you chose inside the folder named Registry.
