Reusing tapes

What will happen to taps allready scheduled with dpm and all of them been used if i want to kick dpm out of my production environment and replace BE.. is the taps will earsed or overwrite when i configure it and make my schedule backup on it ?

When you removed DPM and wasn't too reuse the tapes used by DPM, just right-click on them in the BE console and select erase. This will erase them and make them ready for use by BE

But what if i don't want to losing the data on taps ?

.... then just keep them in some place safe and don't put them in the tape drive/tape library

I'm sorry i'm not understand ... i want to use the same taps that on dpm without losing data, it is must earsed for BE use or there is another way to use them without earse ?

No. You cannot combine DPM backups and BE backups on the same tape.
