hi

media server: windows server 2008

file server with SBE agent: windows server 2003

it's my first installation of SBE.

testing:

1. trying to backup something from local drive of media server - ok

2. trying to backup something  from system drive c: of file server - ok

3. trying to backup from another drive of file server. in task properties it was ckecked folder (for example, TstFldr) that is shared on file server (folder was checked using agent, not mapped drive!). after backup completed i saw that backed up only root folders that was in TstFldr.

all the directory structure of TstFldr and files are availeble for browsing and checking when i edit backup task

(credentials that i used to backup from file server - system account and testing is OK)

i cant understand the reason and need your advice, community

thanks!

If you are taking backup of DFS data than you need to select the folders through Shadow Copy

Components of the server
