Did you mean:

SBS 2003 and backup exec standard edition.

We had a windows 2000 standard server and backup exec version 10.
We upgraded to SBS 2003 with exchange and just purchased the exchange agent.
Backups ran fine without any errors.
However, this past weekend I did a mock disaster recover on an offline Identical hardware box.
To my suprise the restore would NOT restore active directory even in directory services restore mode.
My question is, "is this becuase we are runnning standard backup exec 10 instead of backup exec 9.1 for SBS?"
Also, if this is the issue ( a version incapatibility) what options do we have since we have already purchased backup exec 10, exchange agent and the remote agent.

Hi,

Are you trying to restore Actiev Directory to another server instead of the Small Business Server itself..?
