This seems to be an intermittant problem,
What gets backed up - Sharepoint, Exchange 2003, All files Inc Sytem files, state etc etc.
This is a stand alone server with W2k3 with a Centrance Ultrium 2 SCSI device tape drive. LTO Tapes.
Job will run and complete without any errors for a few days (8 nights on the trot was my best) but wil randomly "hang"
Symptoms - Job starts and will run until manually cancelled, Job Status = running, Byte Count = 0 Bytes.
I have changed the tape drive and reinstalled the software and rotated tapes with no luck.
Could anyone help?
