SBS2008 and HP RDX device (not seen in Devices)

Hi, i have installed the trial v12.5 (SP3) and have a HP RDX (internal firmware 3040), this device works in windows fine, however BE cant see it as a device to back up to.... ideas?

Hello,

Is it connected via USB?

If yes than Go to the Devices TAB in Backup Exec and try to create a B2D folder on the USB Drive

Hi, this device is connected via USB.

Backup to a Removable disk file does work yes, however it would have been nice for BE to see the RDX as a device and handle the device as a tape (as there own Hardware compatibility list says it would), as Backup to Disk is just seeing a drive letter, Windows does this.

So the original question still stands, what do we install (fix) to get BE to see the RDX as a device?
