Am I need to install VERITAS Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft SQL on remote computer from which I need to backup SQL server? It is installed on the media server.

Hello,

In case you need to protect a remote SQL server, you need to do the following:

- Install the license number on the media server
- install the remote a gen ton the remote SQL server.
