SQL2008R2 SP3 Backup Exec Database Repository Compatibility

I am not talking about supported databases to backup, I am talking about the BE database itself.

The latest software compatabilty list for BE 15 does not list SQL 2008R2 SP3 as a supported database for the Database Repository.  It only shows SQL 2008R2 SP2.  The same is true for BE16.

Can anyone confirm if they are using SP3 or why it isn't explicitly supported?

Yes, SP3 for SQL 2008 R2 has been qualifed. The Software Compatability List just has not been updated.

This has been qualified for both Backup Exec 15 and Backup Exec 16

Requests are being submitted to have the Software Compatability List updated for BE database support for SP3 on SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2012 SP3. This will be for both Backup Exec 15 and Backup Exec 16.

It is also being updated for SQL 2016 SP1 for Backup Exec 16
