Not sure that i'm posting this in the roght place, but hopefully someone can help.
we're using backup exec 12, and i was wondering if there was a way to write scipts before jobs. i'm sure i read somewhere that there was.
basically what i'm after is an automated way to inventory and quick erase a tape before the job starts, but if possible included within the backup job as we usually change times of backups and don't want to mess around with changing the times of three jobs for 1 day.
if this is possible, could someone let me know how its done please.
