Select all the files in backup schedule but only a few files are successfully backed up

I select all the files in the backup schedule as shown below :

but when i want to recover files,
only a few files are successfully backed up

anyone can help me??

Are these files under DSF?  If so, then they are backed up as part of the Shadow Copy Component.  To restore these files, you need to take a look at that.

Other possibilities are

1) These files are files which are automatically excluded from the backup by AFE.  These include database files, like .mdf, etc.

2) These files are considered to be part of the OS and is backed up as part of the system state.

You got to give a sample of the files excluded before we can advise you properly.
