The site given in the documentation for my bundled copy of Backup exec 9.2 (www.symantec.com/offer) does not work for this product any longer. How can I get a serial number to re-install this product after a server hard drive crash?

If you have a previous backup of C: drive then what you can so is reinstall Backup Exec in eval mode and then perform the restore of BESERNUM.XML file from the backups. This file contains the License keys which you had installed previously.
If I remember it correctly the location of this file for BE 9.0 (in you backup set) would be C:\Windows......

9.2 is an odd version number, do you mean Backup Exec for Netware?
