Server hardware crash

My existing server that host Backup Exec 12 crash. Actually it has a hardware failure. Just bought a new Dell server and need to reinstall the software. Does anyone have an FAQ on how to upgrade the hardware? Do I need to install the software, then redeploy the agents? Is there a migration white paper?

The old server will boot up and stay on for at list 30 minutes if this will help me with an export or migration I wounder?

Hello 

 To rebuild Backup Exec you need the DATA & CATALOGS folder which are located at X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec.

 If you are going to install the same version of Backup Exec then perform Copy Database http://support.veritas.com/docs/286093

 For higher versions you need to perform BEMIG, refer to http://support.veritas.com/docs/318321
