Server loses network connectivity when backup is running

When an active backup job is running, the server that is running Backup Exec loses network connectivity. If I am connected into the server via Windows Remote Desktop, the connection ends. Logging on physically at the server, I can't browse the Internet. If I kill the backup job that is running, network connectivity resumes as normal.

There are two NICs in the server. However, only one is being used. The other is disabled.

I should also mention, my backups were running fine up until a few days ago.

could you please tell me if you have an antivirus software installed on the media server and when did this issue started, did u apply any patches to the media server and wht is the backup exec server version number and OS it is running on.....
