Server paused

Hi,

I have this error when I try to do any work (start a job, inventory, clean):
server paused

I have already installed the fix that you propose in other discussions and I tried to put on and take off the pause to the media server.
The driver is Symantec.

The media server is online now.

Why does it in paused?

I have backup exec 12.5. Now I am downloading the 2012 version.

This was a known issue in BE 12.5

Uninstall hotfix 354913 from Add / Remove programs and then restart the BE services. Check if the issue reoccurs. If it still does, try unpausing and pausing the server again.

I have not this hotfix.

Installing the 2012 version could be resolve the problem?

If you are indeed facing the known issue from BE 12.5, then it was fixed in later versions and so BE 2012 should help.

However, I would recommend using BE 15 or BE 2014 instead of BE 2012.
