Setup CASO using BUE 2010 trial

Hi,

I want to use CASO in my company but want to make sure it will do what I want it to do.  I downloaded the trial version of BUE 2010 but I am not seeing anywhere to setup CASO.  Is it not available through the trial version?

I believe CASO is an add-on that needs to be installed seperately...

CASO is not a seperate download or install, have you installed any serial numbers yet or have you left that information blank?

It is just the trial of BUE 2010, so I haven't input any serial numbers as of yet.

Inside of Backup Exec, go to Tools - Install Options and License Keys on this Media server
Under Backup Exec Options, select Central Admin Server Option

That should install CASO onto the media server

That isn't an option under the trial.

CASO is not usually available as an Evaluation option - As Far As I know that is because if you trial it, but then decide not to use it but to continue with the stand alone version - that you would have to reconfigure your jobs, media sets and media management. very carefully (particularly against accidental overwriting of media used whilst you were trialling CASO)
